‘Live adventurously’ is a popular piece of advice among Quakers. Dewi Heald isn’t just wrestling with plastic globes. He has travelled the world visiting Quaker Meetings and writing about his experiences in Canada, Australia, Costa Rica and throughout the UK. Join us for an entertaining afternoon where he will share his experiences, adventures and spiritual encounters! No knowledge of Quaker thought or beliefs is needed to attend. Dewi will read from his recent book 'A Travelling Quaker Writes Volume 2' and discuss the differences and similarities between Quakers from across the world.

Be entertained as he explains getting lost in the rainforest in Costa Rica looking for a Quaker school! Find out what unites Quakers from Vancouver to Victoria and from Swansea to San Jose as well as what Quakers are doing in the world today.
